Extran will design and manufacture heat transfer equipment such as Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Heating & Cooling Coils, Industrial Radiators, Aluminium Coolers and complete Cooling Systems. These designs are carried out to various standards such as AS1210, ASME VIII Div 1 & 2, TEMA and more.

By utilising Extran to assist with your heat transfer solutions, you gain access to many decades of combined experience in the design, selection and manufacture of this equipment.
We will help with thermal modelling, mechanical calculations and CAD design of your heat transfer equipment.

Different heat exchanger processes can be modelled including single and dual phase applications, condensers and boilers. Existing installations can be modelled to determine what effect changing process conditions would have on the output of the equipment.
All of Extran’s services are performed under the control of our DNV certified management system so that full traceability is maintained.

Extran’s workshop is staffed by people who have long term experience in the maintenance, refurbishment and manufacture of heat transfer equipment and systems. The workshop is well equipped with relevant machining, welding, lifting, drilling and testing machines.

Equipment can be manufactured from all grades of material, including Aluminium, Copper, Copper Alloys (90/10, 70/30, etc), Brass, Carbon steel, Austenitic Stainless Steels, Ferritic Stainless Steels, Nickel based materials and Titanium.

Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers can be manufactured to all the TEMA configurations. Air Cooled Heat Exchangers comply to API661 standards or specials. Aluminium Coolers meet most size and pressure requirements. Fan systems range from 200mm diameter for mobile plants right up to the largest Industrial Fans, measuring 12meters diameter for Cooling Towers. Skid mounted Heating & Cooling Systems meet the most stringent of requirements.
